I am a grad student at R****rs and I'm working on a thesis. I had a deadline for a couple things and need some immediate help. I am creating contour maps in your version of excel 2011 for Mac. I have created the contours and they look fine. All the data is in there. However, my issue is the values and ranges it has created for me automatically. In some case there are 5 and other cases have 3. Some are large ranges and some are small. I have no ability to adjust these ranges or the amount of ranges pre-selected. I can not just simply click on a vertical axis -go to format axis- and set the 'Major Axis' to something smaller because major axis is not a selectable choice.

Now, I was on the phone for an hour being bounced around from person to person before I was told by someone they didn't know how to fix it from lack of training. I was really hoping someone here could get back to me and let me know how to fix this. I know it says not to put personal information here, but I will at least write my email so someone can directly get back to me and I can call someone afterwards or get an answer cause I really need to figure out how to fine tune this graph because my data will not be understood given the ranges I am set at.
