Hi MSFT guys,

You guys are really good at making a mess. After you fixing some old issues for PDF exporting in latest PowerPoint for Mac version (16.20 181107), you create new issues as always.

Pages, the word processing program that comes resident on your Macbook Air, allows you to save documents in Pages format, Word format, or PDF format (among perhaps others, but I only use these 3). So for those who need to turn in an assignment at work or university in Word format, they can, without buying Word as an app. Question: is there a file size limitation for Powerpoint 2016 Mac I have spent HOURS on this program getting the narration and slide timing just right, and to see it bomb on the slide 79 really troubles me.

Issue 1: Gradient is not properly displayed

please take a look at the comparison between the PDF created by latest version 16.20 and the one by version 16.15.

- the desired output. it's exported with Version 16.15

- the bad output from version 16.20

Issue 2: SVG's color properly rendered

- the original SVG file in the design time (namely in the powerpoint authoring environment)

- the bad exported PDF from version 16.20. Its color is darker than the original color.

Issue 3: picture pasted into the powerpoint has a gray outline.

- the expected output. It's exported with Version 16.15

- the bad output from version 16.20. There is gray box around the picture.

I strongly suggest MSFT Office's QA team should conduct a serious internal investigation about these quality issues.

After every updates of Powerpoint for Mac, new issues are created. This is really annoying and frustrated.

Calibri, Times New Roman, and Verdana are considered conservative fonts, bringing out a trustworthy and stable image which some deem to be boring.

Brush Script have a warm and feminine effect but don’t seem to inspire confidence.

Courier New and Stencil reflect a cold, unattractive and unemotional setting.

Impact font reveals a strong, solid, masculine and forceful image, though is overused.

Jokerman are exciting, extravagant but also immature and sometimes tacky.

Let’s go ahead and use 1001fonts.com

Once we’ve chosen the font we want to use, go ahead and click the green download button on the right.

Installing a custom font in Mac

The single font is downloaded to your computer as a single file or in a compressed folder.

If it is compressed extract it.

Double-click the font file to open the Font Book application. The font displays in a window, providing a preview of what it will look like in PowerPoint.

Select Install Font

Presentation Software

And now it’s installed, head over to PowerPoint (making sure to restart the program) and click the “Format” tab.

Click the “Font” drop-down menu and select the installed font to use it in your PowerPoint presentation.
